Hey Diddle Fiddle and Friends will present the last Jazz Junction Live on Sunday 11 November, 2012. As you well know, Hey Diddle Fiddle consists of Caleb Richards on violin and Dale Allison on guitar.

Dale  Allison has covered just about every style of music over many years as a band member and guitar player. He has toured with such diverse acts as Phil Emmanuel to Gina Jeffreys.

Caleb Richards won the John Ansell Memorial Award at 2003 Wagga Jazz Festival (that 9 years has flown, hasn’t it?) and he has won numerous other awards and scholarships.

Together they perform everything from Mozart to Duke Ellington in their own dynamic style, delivered at a blistering pace. They are always exciting to watch and a knockout to listen to.  Do you remember when they released their first live EP in September 2007 at Jazz Junction Live?

At this stage, we do not know how many Friends there will be but do know that they will include:-

Alexandra Richards (nee Nugent) - vocals

Geoff Simpson - Bass player to the stars, Adam Harvey, Camille Te Nahu, Darren Coggan and many other leading music identities.

More details will be available in the update emailed closer to 11 November. Sadly, there are no more Jazz Junction Live dates to put in your diary, so please make a special effort to come to this last Jazz Junction Live so that we can have a great afternoon of jazz and fun.

As usual, we are in the Mirage Room at the RSL Club and the time is from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

Entry is $15 for adults, $10 for pensioners and students, 12 and under are free. A gold coin donation is requested, this goes to our November charity, Christmas in the Children's Ward at Wagga Base Hospital.
